Six Week Course - Beginner Wheel

Beginner Wheel, Six-Week Session

Build a strong foundation in wheel throwing through this six-week beginner course. Each class focuses on core ceramic skills, including centering, shaping, trimming, handle-making, and glazing.

Students will create a variety of functional forms such as cups, bowls, mugs, spoon rests, and plant pots while learning how to work confidently with clay. In the final week, students will glaze their pieces using a selection of studio glazes.

By the end of the course, you’ll have finished ceramic pieces and the foundational skills to continue growing in the studio.

*Course includes 2 hours of Open Studio time following course completion.

Additional Details:

·     Students ages 15–17 may participate with an enrolled adult also in attendance.

·     Meets on the scheduled day and continues for five additional weeks on the same day and time.

·     Each class runs 2.5 hours, for a total of 15 hours of instruction.

·     2 hours of Open Studio time, following course completion, is included in booking (clay available for purchase in the studio).

·     Small class sizes making it conducive to regular 1:1 instruction.

·     Please only register if you can attend all session dates.
