Meet the Team

Rileigh

Ceramics Instructor

Rileigh Shelton was born and raised in the Snoqualmie Valley. She has been passionate about the arts for her entire life, and some of her earliest memories are of painting and playing with clay, so she is thrilled to be part of the North Bend Pottery team and exploring this passion with members of the community. The Snoqualmie Valley's budding arts community is one that she is excited to watch grow and thrive! She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and her Master's in Teaching from Central Washington University, and she holds a teaching certification with an endorsement in visual arts.

Ryann

Ceramics Instructor

Ryann discovered her love for clay in 2016 and has been creating ever since. With a BA in Art and Psychology, her work blends abstract and organic forms; bold, experimental, and ever-evolving. She’s known for stretching clay to its limits, often using pigmented stains, marbling, and rich textures. While she’s explored both functional and sculptural pieces, her heart belongs to Korean moon jars. A valley native, Ryann draws inspiration from the colors and rhythms of the nature around her. Outside the studio, she loves exploring new places, hiking, dancing, and hitting the Renaissance fair each summer. As an instructor, she strives to create a space of reflection and connection where working with clay becomes a conversation between maker and material.

Genevieve

Owner/Manager

Genevieve discovered pottery only recently, but the pull of clay was instant and undeniable. What began as a personal exploration quickly turned into a vision for something bigger: a space where creativity, community, and the calming rhythm of ceramics could come together. Visit North Bend Pottery. Come get messy, meet like-minded artists, and experience the grounding joy that working with clay can bring.

Jonathan

Co-Owner/Tech

As a fine arts major, Jonathan studied ceramics, pottery, sculpture, painting and design. Jonathan assists with behind the scenes tasks and occasionally steps in to share his knowledge by teaching classes. Jonathan’s love for the arts has never wavered, and rediscovering clay has become a grounding therapy for life’s everyday stresses. With the opening of North Bend Pottery, he’s excited to share that same sense of calm and creativity by nurturing a thriving arts community.
