Step into the studio and get ready to make something that’s as fun to create as it is to use! In this hand-building pottery class, students will craft elegant and decorative serving platters using slabs of clay, learning how to shape, refine, and personalize larger forms with confidence. We’ll explore adding gentle curves, raised edges, and eye-catching textures, then finish things off with beautiful surface designs that make each platter feel special.
Whether your style is bold and modern or soft and organic, this class is all about turning clay into a statement piece that’s perfect for serving, sharing, and showing off in the new year!
No ceramics experience required. Your pieces will be glazed by our staff in colors selected by you and will be fired and ready for pick up in 3 weeks following the workshop.
